Monday - February 26, 2007
Committee Members Present: Chairman, Arthur Capello, Joe Pitre, Ann Titus, Debra Cantwell, Gail Ellis and Selectman's Rep. Gerry McCarthy.
Public Present: Kathy Seaver,Town Clerk
Meeting called to order at 7:20pm.
1. Arthur Capello stated that the minute approval will be on hold until the next regularly scheduled meeting on 3/28/2007 so that everyone has time to review the minutes.
2. This committee had to have this emergency meeting to approve the changed wording of Article 17. The basic structure of this article is intact but needed to be worded differently to be legal. Ann Titus motioned to approve Article 17, Joe Pitre seconded. Discussion followed if the Town has the money written in the budget and Gerry McCarthy responded yes. Motion passed with all in favor. Kathy Seaver asked committee members to come in Thursday to sign paperwork.
3. Other - It was discussed that the need for this meeting came up last Wednesday night and Arthur Capello could not get a quorum until tonite. It was also discussed that Gail Ellis is not getting the emails everyone else is and therefore all correspondence will be mailed and emailed.
Gerry McCarthy moved to adjourn, Gail Ellis seconded. Motion passed with all in favor. Meeting adjourned at 7:30pm.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday,March 28, 2007 at 7pm.
